Workshop Foreman

Warragul City Motors is offering an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic service team. We are looking for a workshop Foreman to deliver high quality service for our customers. This position is ideal for a highly competent, qualified Automotive Technician ready for the next step or a current Foreman seeking a change.

The role will involve the following:

·       Organising and managing the repair order flow through the workshop

·       Responsibility for the efficiency and productivity of all technicians

·       Working closely with the Service Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the workshop

·       Liaising between the Technicians and the Service Advisors

·       Overseeing technical training for Apprentices and Technicians

·       Servicing, repairs and vehicle diagnostics

The successful candidate will require the following:

·       Current Automotive Technician Trade Certificate

·       Current Victorian manual driver’s licence

·       Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail

·       Good communication skills

·       A mature, professional approach to work

·       Ability to manage and mentor a service workshop team

·       Be well presented

·       Previous dealership workshop experience

·       Experience with Ford, Hyundai or Honda would be beneficial
